Some of Our Past Projects
Custom Designed and Manufactured 3D Printed Parts
Project: Feline Feeding Nipples
A local customer who lovingly cares for senior cats and those with feline diseases was in need of bottle feeding nipples that are no longer available. With her last sample of the silicone bottle topper we were able to draw in CAD a two-part mold and print it in resin. We filled the mold with a fast curing platinum based silicone and produced a strong but flexible cast that was very close to the original.
Our customer can now care for these cats in a way that would be very difficult with an off the shelf product due to the nature of thier illnesses.
4.5" diameter bushings designed in CAD and SLS printed in PA12 Nylon
Project: Street Light Bushings
When the city of San Angelo,Texas (COSATX) began installation of thier new architectural street lamps in the historical down town district, they ran into a problem. There was a gap between the lamp's main structural pole and its mounting sleeve, leaving an undesireable gap. Our solution was to design and print a non-structural part from PA12 nylon in two pieces for easy installation by construction crews.
Project: Scale Offroad RC Lighted Parts
Pitbull Extreme RC is a premier radio controled parts and accessories distributor in Missouri, specializing in 1/10th and 1/6th scale offroad vehicles. A3D was chosen to manufacture, assemble and package thier products which include scale LED offroad light bars, light pods, and lighted antennas.

Only SLS printed parts would meet their demand for very high detail and durability. A3D is commited to meet the challenge with every purchase order. We produce all the parts in-house, as well as install the LED lighting, dyeing of parts, retail artwork and packaging.

CAD designed and SLS printed offroad wheel locker "hubber" tools. Custom made for the Ford Bronco.
James Duff, a name that has been synonymous with the Ford Bronco for over half a century. Many know him as Jim, but most know him from the early years as Duffy. He first got into Broncos in 1967 while working as a body & paint man at Walker Buerge Ford in Los Angeles. At the time the dealership sold very few Broncos. This all changed when Duffy started taking them home after work for upgrades like fender flares, double shocks, and rollbars.
